The G915 is Logitech’s first Series 9 keyboard; it made us wait and we weren’t disappointed.
It’s a very discreet gamer keyboard that’s incredibly thin (22mm thick) without compromising the gaming experience and performance gamers have come to expect.
The G915 is made of 5052 aluminum alloy and has a steel base for added strength and durability. Like any gamer keyboard, it’s RGB Lightsync backlit, but it’s also customizable via Logitech’s G Hub software.
However, this model doesn’t just shine for its aesthetics, as it’s the first keyboard from the brand to feature ultra-flat switches, which are half the height of standard mechanical keys. This makes typing and playing more comfortable, not to mention that you can choose between 3 types of switches: GL Clicky (click sound and touch response), GL Tactile (soft touch feedback) and GL Linear (linear typing).
You will also find multimedia controls, a horizontal wheel to adjust the volume. By the way, we regret that the function of the latter can not be customized via G Hub, but the 5 macro keys are.
Thanks to Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology, response times are 1ms, which can be extremely fast during crucial moments in your game.
The G915 is standard Bluetooth compatible, so feel free to connect it to another device and switch between them at the touch of a button, a feature that streamers should love.
As for battery life, the G915 lasts 30 hours with the RGB backlight activated. It goes from 0% to 100% charge in about 3 hours, but it can be used while on full power.
